Safety & Compliance
- Early entry
- Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical-resistant gloves, such as those made of waterproof material Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks Protective eyewear
- Personal Protection
- Loaders, applicators and other handlers using engineering controls must wear: Long sleeved shirt and long pants Shoes plus socks In addition, loaders must wear: Chemical-resistant gloves (such as those made of waterproof material) IMPORTANT: All other handlers performing tasks such as spill clean up or equipment cleaning, for which engineering controls are not feasible must wear: Coveralls over long sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical resistant footwear plus socks Chemical resistant gloves Protective eyewear, A NIOSH approved dust/mist filtering respirator with a MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C or a NIOSH approved respirator with any N, R, P or HE filter, Chemical resistant apron if exposed to the concentrate.
