Mixers, loaders, applicators, flaggers and other handlers must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants, Chemical-resistant gloves such as barrier laminate, nitrile rubber >14 mils, neoprene rubber >14 mils or viton > 14 mils. Shoes plus socks Additional PPE requirements for mixers and loaders supporting aerial application to rangelands, pasture lands, or noncropland. These mixers/ loaders also must wear: A chemical-resistant apron, and A NIOSH-approved particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-84A; or a NIOSH approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C.
