Applicators and Other Handlers Must Wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants; Shoes and socks; and Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material (nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, butyl rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, viton ≥ 14 mils, and/or barrier laminate). When applying CASORON 4G for the following scenarios, all handlers must also wear a respirator (a minimum of a NIOSH-approved particulate filtering facepiece respirator with any N*, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved elastomeric particulate respirator with any N*, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filters) and single layer with gloves: Mixing/loading granules using a tractor-drawn granular spreader on noncrop areas, and non-agricultural ornamentals (such as woody trees and shrubs), shelterbelt plantings. Mixing/loading granules using a tractor-drawn spreader for typical field crops (blueberry lowbush), caneberries, and rhubarb. Loading/applying granules with a rotary spreader on non-agricultural ornamentals and non-crop areas. Applying granules with shaker can under asphalt and under vinyl pool/pond liners and non-crop areas. Applying granules with tractor-drawn spreader for non-crop areas. Applying granules with tractor-drawn spreader for blueberry (lowbush). For loading/applying granules with a rotary spreader under asphalt and under vinyl pool/pond liner. Mixing/loading granular formulations for aerial applications to cranberry.
