Personal Protection
Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, protective eyewear, chemical resistant gloves made out of the following waterproof materials (nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, barrier laminate ≥ 14 mils, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, or viton ≥ 14 mils) and chemical resistant headgear for overhead exposure. In addition to the above, for aerial applications, mixers and loaders must wear a filtering face piece, half piece, or full face NIOSH approved particulate respirator (TC-84A) with any R or P filter.
