Applicators using hand held equipment must wear coveralls over long-sleeve shirt and long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber (> 14 mils), nitrile rubber (> 14 mils), neoprene rubber (>14 mils), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (> 14 mils), or viton (> 14 mils)), chemical- resistant footwear plus socks, chemical-resistant headgear for overhead exposures, and a dustimist fitering rospirator (VSHANIOSH approval number prefix TC-84A), or a NIOSH approved respirator with any N, R, P or HE filter. Applicators using aircraft or mechanical ground equipment (groundboom, aitblast, etc.), and flaggers for aerial applications must wear long-sleeve shirt and long pants, and shoes plus socks. Applicators and all other handlers not specified above must wear long-sleeve shirt and long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber (> 14 mils), nifrile rubber (> 14 mils), neoprene rubber (>14 mils), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (> 14 mils), or viton (> 14 mils)), and shoes plus Socks.
