AMVAC Thimet 20-G Smartbox controls or suppresses the following pests when applied at labeled rates:
Safety & Compliance
- Early entry
- Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants; Chemical-resistant gloves, such as those made of waterproof material; Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks; and Protective eyewear
- Personal Protection
- Applicators, loaders and other handlers must wear: Long sleeved shirt and long pants; and Shoes plus socks In addition, loaders must also wear: Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material. IMPORTANT: In addition to wearing the required PPE specified above, all other handlers performing tasks such as in the case of a broken container, spill clean-up, equipment failure, equipment maintenance (cleaning and repair), for which Engineering Controls are not feasible, must wear: Coveralls over long sleeved shirt and long pants; Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks; Chemical-resistant gloves made of waterproof material; Protective eyewear; Chemical-resistant apron; and A NIOSH-approved particulate respirator with any N2, R or P filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-84A; or a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C.
