- Applicators and other handlers (including mixers, loaders, persons cleaning or maintaining the application equipment, truck drivers in drive-through drench operations, and persons handling treated apples or apple containers still wet) must wear: • long-sleeved shirt and long pants • shoes and socks • chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material such as polyvinyl chloride, nitrile rubber, or butyl rubber. Drenching applicators must wear: long sleeved shirt and long pants.
