Applicators using a belly grinder (hand-held broadcast spreader) must wear: Coveralls worn over long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical-resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl rubber ≥ 14 mils, nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, natural rubber ≥ 14 mils, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, or Viton ≥ 14 mils. Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks Chemical-resistant headgear, if overhead exposure Chemical-resistant apron when mixing, loading, and cleaning equipment or spills A minimum of a NIOSH approved filtering facepiece respirator with any R or P filter (TC-84A); OR an elastomeric NIOSH approved particulate respirator with any N*, R or P filter (TC-84A); OR a NIOSH approved powered air purifying respirator with an HE filter (TC-21C)
