coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks, chemical-resistant footwear, protective eyewear and chemical-resistant gloves greater than 14 mils in thickness composed of materials such as butyl rubber, natural rubber, neoprene rubber, or nitrile rubber, shoes plus socks and protective eyewear.
Personal Protection
Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks, chemical-resistant footwear, protective eyewear and chemical-resistant gloves such as Barrier Laminate, Butyl Rubber, Nitrile Rubber, Neoprene Rubber, Natural Rubber or Viton. When mixing, loading or cleaning equipment wear a chemical-resistant apron. When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed in Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR 170.240 (d) (4-6)], the handler PPE requirements may be reduced or modified as specified in the WPS.
