Applicators and handlers must wear a minimum of: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Socks and shoes waterproof gloves Wear a minimum of a NIOSH-approved particulate filtering facepiece respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved elastomeric particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filters. For the following scenarios all handlers must also wear minimum of a respirator and single layer with gloves: For mixing/loading granules using tractor-drawn spreader on noncrop areas, and non-agricultural ornamentals (such as woody trees and shrubs), shelterbelt plantings For mixing/loading granules using tractor-drawn spreader for typical field crops (blueberry lowbush), caneberries, and rhubarb For loading/applying granules with a rotary spreader on nonagricultural ornamentals and non-crop areas For applying granules with shaker can under asphalt and under vinyl pool/pond liners and non-crop areas For applying granules with tractor-drawn spreader for non-crop areas For applying granules with tractor-drawn spreader for blueberry (lowbush) For loading/applying granules with a rotary spreader under asphalt and under vinyl pool/pond linerPrecautions
