Zinc Chelate 10% can be applied to most vegetable crops, row crops, deciduous fruit and nut trees, citrus, avocados, grapes, melons, ornamentals, turf, pasture, range grasses, and most other crops. Zinc Chelate 10% is non-phytotoxic when used as directed. It is absorbed through the leafy tissue and root system of the plant and quickly translocated to deficient areas of the plant. Zinc Chelate 10% is compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, liquid fertilizer, and other foliar micronutrients. Zinc Chelate 10% can also be used as an acidifying and dispersing agent in water solutions.

Zinc Chelate 10% has corrected deficiencies on many row crops, vegetables, and ornamental plants growing in soils with high organic matter (muck) to very low organic matter, and from strong acid soils to high alkaline soils containing considerable calcium carbonate (free lime). Zinc Chelate 10% is effective in both dryland and irrigation farming conditions. Differences in soil conditions, climate, and plant varieties will determine how much more effective Zinc Chelate 10% is than are other sources of zinc.

Zinc Chelate 10% is unique because it can be used in most forms of liquid fertilizers, including some ammonia solutions. Zinc Chelate 10% can be broadcast on the surface of water solutions, with fluid fertilizers including suspensions, or in particulate form. Zinc Chelate 10% can be banded at planting time, side-dressed or sprayed in water solutions.

Limitations, Restrictions, and Exceptions


In soil applications the usual carrier is water used at a rate sufficient for thorough coverage.
