SOIL APPLICATION FOR ALL CROPS - MILD DEFICIENCY
LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% is recommended to prevent and correct molybdenum deficiencies of field, row, vegetable, fruit, tree, vine, ornamental, turf, legume and forage crops. LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% alone, with pesticides, or with other fertilizers, may be applied directly to the soil or to the foliage of growing crops. LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% may be applied via ground sprayers (high-volume or low-volume), aircraft or fertigation systems.
WARNING: Application of fertilizers containing molybdenum may result in forage crops that contain levels of molybdenum that are toxic to ruminant animals. The proper use of soil and/or petiole test recommendations will minimize the risk of over-application of molybdenum.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Soil applications of LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% are recommended with nitrogen fertilizer solutions. Thorough coverage and wetting are needed for optimum foliar spray results. Actively growing plants with young leaves absorb foliarly applied LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% most efficiently.
Immediate post-irrigation or post-rainfall application give the best foliar uptake. Addition of urea (for example, 5 lbs. Lo-Bi Urea per 100 gallons of spray solution) will enhance foliar uptake of LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5%.
COMPATIBILITY: LIQUID MOLYBDENUM 5% is compatible with most pesticides and fertilizers that are neutral (pH 6.5-7.5) in spray solution. However, if the desired combination has not been previously used, a compatibility test is recommended.
SOIL APPLICATION FOR ALL CROPS
Mild Deficiency: 1-2 pts./acre
Note: The lower rates are for field, row and vegetable crops. The higher rates are for fruit, tree, vine, ornamental and turf crops.
Fertigation: Apply the recommended amount of product in split applications one to two weeks apart throughout the growing season.
