General Information


A nonionic general purpose spreader-activator for use on plants to improve the effectiveness of acaricides, defoliants, fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides, by providing more uniform and increased contact activity.


Always add PHT B-85 to the spray tank as the last ingredient with the agitator running.

The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides tank-mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of PHT B-85 to spray tank-mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trials or must take the recommendation from the labels of the products to be tank mixed.

PHT B-85 can NOT be directly applied to tree fruit, citrus, grape vines, fresh market or canning vegetables (except canning tomatoes), fruit crops, melons, and berries.

Limitations, Restrictions, and Exceptions


- (Use with magnesium and sodium chlorate and with chlorateborate defoliants and herbicides.) Use 1 quart per each 100 gallons of dilute spray when spray application is at the rate of 10 gallons per acre. Use 2 quarts per 100 gallons of spray when application is at 5 gallons per acre. Use 2 quarts for each 100 gallons of dilute spray for aerial application.
