General Information

TRACITE Ca-Zn is a foliar applied micronutrient and non-phytotoxic when used as directed. As a foliar micronutrient TRACITE Ca-Zn is intended solely as a supplement to a well-balanced, existing soil fertilization program.

Application of TRACITE Ca-Zn will reduce calcium deficiency disorders of various crops occurring during periods of rapid plant growth or physiological stress. VEGETABLES: Blackheart of celery, lettuce tip burn, internal tip burn of cabbage, blossom-end rot of tomatoes and peppers, and cavity spot of carrots and parsnips.

FRUITS: Bitter pit of apples, cracking of sweet cherries, cork spot of Anjou pears, and water berry of grapes.

Limitations, Restrictions, and Exceptions

NOTE: TRACITE Ca-Zn can be used as a buffer. Do not mix with sulfate or phosphate-based acidifying agents or buffering agents.

A nonionic wetter/spreader adjuvant such as INDUCE should be used when foliarly-applying TRACITE Ca-Zn.

TRACITE Ca-Zn is compatible with most insecticides, fungicides and herbicides. It can be applied in existing spray programs.

GRAPES: Apply 2 – 4 quarts of TRACITE Ca-Zn per acre by ground at the short berry stage of development. A second application of 2 – 4 quarts per acre 30 days prior to harvest may result in earlier maturity. Do not apply after fruit formation on fresh market grapes.
