General Information

TRACITE 2-0-25 is a stabilized solution containing a high concentration of water-soluble potash with 2% urea nitrogen. Tracite 2-0-25 is a stable, uniform product with excellent mixing characteristics and utilizes a unique form of potash which exhibits low corrosion characteristics.

TRACITE 2-0-25 is compatible with many liquid fertilizers, foliarly-applied micronutrients and pesticides provided that the following mixing precautions are observed.

1. Never mix TRACITE 2-0-25 with undiluted pesticides.

2. TRACITE 2-0-25 should be added to the spray tank water prior to the addition of other products.

3. Always “Jar Test” all spray tank-mixes for compatibility before mixing for field applications.

TRACITE 2-0-25 may be applied to agricultural crops, commercial turf, ornamental crops and other plants where foliar applied potash is recommended. Direct application to soil is also recommended. Application of TRACITE 2-0-25 should always be the result of plant tissue or soil analysis which indicates the need for potassium. Foliar fertilization is intended as a supplement to a regular fertilization program and will not, by itself, provide all the nutrients normally required by agricultural crops.

CAUTION: Do not use TRACITE 2-0-25 in foliar sprays on plants that are sensitive to potassium or urea application.

TRACITE 2-0-25 may be applied by ground (dilute or concentrate) or air. Apply enough water for thorough coverage. The addition of a quality surfactant such as INDUCE is recommended. Local climatic conditions may affect the performance of nutritional sprays. Consult your Helena Chemical Company representative or your local agricultural extension agent for guidance if needed.
