DLZ is a patented combination of surfactants, paraffinic oil and methylated seed-oils designed to improve the spreading, wetting and absorption properties of pesticide spray mixes. DLZ also provides buffering properties to the spray mixture which can enhance the uptake of many pesticides into plants. In addition DLZ has unique emulsifiers which provide extremely stable emulsions for applications which require this characteristic. DLZ is designed to retard the evaporation and improve deposition of the spray application.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FOR USE WITH PRODUCTS REGISTERED FOR: AQUATIC, FORESTRY, INDUSTRIAL, NON-CROPLAND, RIGHTS-OF-WAY, TURF, AND OTHER USES. The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank-mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible plants. Prior to the addition of DLZ to spray tank-mixes with a pesticide or fertilizer where an oil concentrate adjuvant is not specifically recommended but not prohibited by the manufacturer, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial.
DLZ may be applied by Ground or Air. In most applications, use enough DLZ to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto plant surfaces without undue runoff.
In greater than 5 gallons per acre:
Use 4-8 pints of DLZ per 100 gallons of total spray volume. Do not use less than 0.5% v/v concentration.
In less than 5 gallons per acre:
Use 6-8 fluid ounces per acre.
