SUGAR BEET - AT PLANT APPLICATION - WHITE GRUB, WIREWORM AND CUTWORM
Use low rate under light to moderate infestation. Higher rates should be used under heavy insect pressure. The rate of application is variable according to insect pressure, timing of spray and field scouting.
For cutworm, armyworm, or stalk borer control, Mustang Max EC insecticide may be applied before, during, or after planting. For soil-incorporated applications, use higher rates for improved control.
At Plant Applications
For wireworm and white grub, apply in-furrow or 3-4 inch T-band (band over the open furrow) at planting in a minimum of 3-5 gallons per acre at the rate of 0.025 lbs ai/ac (4 ounces/acre).
For cutworm species, apply at planting on the soil surface in a 5-7 inch band or broadcast in a minimum of 3-5 gallons per acre at the rate of 0.025 lbs ai/ac (4 ounces/acre).
Observe all spray drift precautions on the EPA registered label.
Idaho and Oregon: Wireworm and white grub suppression only.
