Personal Protection
Mixers, loaders, applicators, flaggers and other handlers must wear:  Long-sleeved shirt and long pants  Chemical-resistant gloves such as Barrier Laminate, Butyl Rubber, Nitrile Rubber, or Viton when mixing, loading, or using any hand-held equipment.  Shoes plus socks  Protective eyewear such as goggles, face shield, or safety glasses. Additional PPE requirements for mixers and loaders supporting aerial application to CRP acres or noncropland. These mixers/loaders also must wear:  Chemical-resistant apron  NIOSH-approved respirator with a dust/mist filter with MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C or any N2, R, P, or HE filter.
