Found in: Pastures, meadows, roadsides and cultivated areas overcrowding crops.
General description: Erect bushy plant with small yellow flowers that grows to 1 feet to 3 feet high.
Seedlings: Cotyledons are oblong and first leaves are lobed and form a basal rosette.
True leaves: Alternate with lobed margins.
Flowers and fruit: Flowers are pale yellow and bloom in tiny clusters. Fruit is seeds that are reddish brown, oblong and produced in two rows.
