  • Adult: Moth with mottled brown forewings that have silver markings near the center.
  • Larvae: Green caterpillar that sometimes has pale stripes and small dark spots.
  • Eggs: Small, round and greenish-white. 

Timing of damage: V2 to R4

Type of damage: Defoliation of leaves and sometimes pod damage.

Scouting: Use net sweeps or a drop cloth. 

Economic threshold: 15 worms per 25 sweeps of a net, or six worms per foot of row.
