All mixers, loaders, applicators and other handlers must wear: Coveralls over short sleeved shirt and short pants, Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks, Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material {barrier laminate, butyl rubber > 14 mils, nitrile rubber > 14 mils, neoprene rubber > 14 mils, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) > 14 mils, and/or viton > 14 mils), Goggles or face shield, Chemical-resistant headgear for overhead exposure, Chemical-resistant apron for mixers and loaders Mixers, loaders, and applicators for applications using a mechanically pressurized handgun to Apples, Bananas, Olives, Pears, Stone Fruits – Crop Group 12 – 12, and Tree Nuts – Crop Group 14 – 12, must wear a minimum of a NIOSH-approved particulate filtering facepiece respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved elastomeric particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filters. Mixers and loaders for aerial applications to Apples, Bananas, Olives, Pears, Stone Fruits – Crop Group 12 – 12, and Tree Nuts – Crop Group 14 – 12, must wear a minimum of a NIOSH-approved particulate filtering facepiece respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved elastomeric particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter; OR a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filters.
