Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, chemical resistant gloves made of the following waterproof material: nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, barrier laminate, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, or viton ≥ 14 mils and chemical resistant headgear for overhead exposure. In addition to the above, for aerial applications, mixers and loaders must wear a filtering face piece, half piece or full face NIOSH approved particulate respirator (TC-84A) with any R or P filter.
