STRAWBERRY

Limitations, Restrictions, and Exceptions

COBRA Herbicide may be utilized as a preemergence soil-applied herbicide for control of the annual broadleaf weeds listed below immediately before transplanting or immediately following transplanting of dormant strawberry transplants. Post transplant application should be made within 48 hours of transplanting, to plants that have had soil palced over the crown of the plant to minimize direct contact of COBRA Herbicide with the transplants.

For preemergence control of grasses and expanded broadleaf weed control, tank mix Cobra Herbicide with appropriate preemergence herbicides. Examples off broadleaf weeds that Cobra Herbicide only partially controls include: common lambsquarters, common groundsel, shepherd’s-purse and common chickweed.

Make one broadcast application in the establishment year only. Do not harvest berries within 1 year of COBRA Herbicide application.
