SURFIX-P is a water dispersible spreader-sticker adjuvant.
SURFIX-P is designed to improve the efficiency of many pesticides by increasing the spreading and adhesion of spray deposits on leaf surfaces. Unlike conventional spreader-sticker products, SURFIX-P provides excellent surface tension reduction resulting in increased coverage of plant surfaces. In addition, SURFIX-P reduces the tendency for wash off of the spray deposit by light to moderate rainfall, heavy dews or irrigation water applied by above canopy sprinkler system. SURFIX-P does not contain petroleum or vegetable based oils. Optimum application and effects, however, can be influenced by the crop, pest, spray equipment, spray volume, pressure, droplet size, spray mixture and environmental factors. Consequently, it is recommended that careful observations of the spray deposit be made and adjuvant concentrations be adjusted accordingly.

The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of SURFIX-P to spray tank mixes and/or prior to the application of SURFIX-P with a pesticide and/or fertilizer where a spreader-sticker adjuvant is not specifically recommended but not prohibited by the products’ label, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination under similar environmental and crop cultural conditions and/or have conducted a phytotoxcity trial under similar environmental and crop cultural conditions.
SURFIX-P may be applied by ground or air spray equipment.
SURFIX-P may be applied in concentrate or dilute sprays. In most applications, use enough SURFIX-P to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto leaf surfaces without undue runoff.
For maximum sticking effect, use 2 to 5 ounces of Surfix-P per 1 to 5 gallons of water per acre. For general application, use 1 to 2 pints per 100 gallons of spray solution. Do not use more than 10 ozs. per acre.
