SPRAY MARKER/FOAMING AGENT

General Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

FOAMER adjuvant is designed for use in foam generating equipment and/or water based spray mixes where the generation of a thick and stable foam is desirable. These applications include field marking systems and spray adjuvant application.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

For best performance, other additives or surfactants should not be used in the foam generator. Before using FOAMER clean the foam generator and hose lines with fresh water. FOAMER contains water softeners which should be adequate under most conditions. Use at a rate of 1 gallon of FOAMER per 50 to 100 gallons of water. A suggested starting rate is 1 gallon of FOAMER per 50 gallons of water. Rate of use will be dependent upon the water hardness, type of equipment, and persistence required. Softer water generally produces better foam and permits the use of the higher volume of water. For hard waters, use 1 gallon of FOAMER per 50 gallons of water.

Fill foam generator ¼ full of water and add required amount of FOAMER. Then add enough water to fill foam generator to ½ full. Do not fill above ½ full as this may impair foam generation. Foam should consist of small tight cells and should not be so dry as to blow away or so wet that it has no body. Reduce air pressure if foam is wet and is coming out as creamy liquid. Alternatively try using less of FOAMER per unit volume of water; increase air pressure if foam is too dry or when the volume of mixture in the tank gets low. Foam droppings of 3 inches to 5 inches diameter are recommended for better visibility and longer stability.
