General Information

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is CRITICAL that ISOMATE-EGVM is applied as directed.

Host Sites - Grapes including raisins, table and wine grapes; olives, figs, persimmons, kiwifruit, currants; blackberries and other berry plants; cherries, plums and other stone fruits; apples, pomegranates and other pome fruits; carnations, honeysuckles, lilacs and other flowering plants; almonds and other nut tree crops; rhubarb, rosemary and other herbs; buckthorn, privet, sumac, spurge laurel and other deciduous and evergreen plants; Virginia creeper and other ivy plants; ornamental nursery plants; dogwoods, jujubes and other wild hosts.

Application - Dispensers must be applied uniformly throughout the treated areas to obtain a reduction in mating. Twist dispensers loosely around host plant branches, vines, etc., in the top part of or slightly above plant canopy. Application may be made to trellis wires in the canopy tops of vine and berry crops.

Timing - Apply prior to European grapevine moth emergence in the spring. Monitor with pheromone traps and inspection of host sites. Additional applications are to be based on field scouting for the target pest. Consult your local pest control advisor or Pacific Biocontrol representative for proper timing or estimated dispenser longevity in your area.

Note - Isomate-EGVM suppresses mating of target pest. Immigration of mated female moths of this species from adjacent external sources of infestation will reduce the level of control.

Manage by:

- Treatment of external sources of infestation with Isomate-EGVM.

- Treatment of external sources of infestation with an effective insecticide.

- Treatment of pheromone treated area with insecticide.

Isomate-EGVM is best used in large (> 10 acres), uniform and contiguous areas. Supplementary applications of insecticide are strongly advised when Isomate-EGVM is used in areas with high populations.

All pests must be monitored to facilitate timely intervention with insecticides.
