24 hours for strawberries, almonds, apples, apricots, cherries, nectarines, plums/fresh prunes, and peaches. 48 hours for blueberries, grapes, raspberries, blackberries, and dewberries. 48 hours for soil treatments and root dips: For soil and greenhouse bench treatments and root dips, once the treatment and any seeding or transplanting tasks done as part of the treatment are complete, the 48-hour REI begins. Exception: Once the seeds or transplants are planted in the soil, the Worker Protection Standard allows workers to enter the treated area without restriction if there will be no contact with the soil subsurface.
