Personal ProtectionMixers and loaders supporting groundboom applications must wear: Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants, chemical resistant footwear plus socks, chemical-resistant gloves, chemicalresistant apron, and a NIOSH-approved respirator with a dust/mist filter (with MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C or with any R, P, or HE filter). All other mixers, loaders, applicators, and handlers must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical resistant gloves.
Restricted Entry IntervalFor Christmas trees, do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the REI of 48 hours. For all other crops and use patterns, do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the REI of 12 hours. Exception: If the product is soil-injected or soil-incorporated, the WPS, under certain circumstances, allows workers to enter the treated area if there will be no contact with anything that has been treated.
