Helm Buys Extreme Herbicide from BASF

Helm Buys Extreme Herbicide from BASF
Helm Agro will soon sell Extreme herbicide. The company recently purchased the herbicide from BASF. It controls more than 50 broadleaf and grass weeds.

“Extreme is highly complementary to the organization’s portfolio and aligned with Helm’s strategy in providing solutions that enable growers to successfully manage weed control with improved return on their investment,” said Jan Stechmann, president of Helm Agro in a recent press release.

The company says it will be a seamless transition from BASF to Helm. Helm says it will continue using BASF’s 2 X 2.5 gallon jug cases to limit disruption to the supply chain.

Extreme includes imazethapyr and glyphosate active ingredients. The modes of action are group 9 and group 2. Read more about the label here.
